Shadow Shot Sunday

I was looking through some boxes and found this.
It put a huge smile on my face!
1968... 9 years old.
A gift from my Aunt Geneva and Uncle Art.
The page for brownies had a big check on it.
Not much has changed.  Brownies are still a favorite!
I love the illustrations in here.
By Pat Paris.
I was very pleased to see girls and boys!
Kudos to Pat Paris and Hallmark.

To see more shadow shots... visit Shadow Shot Sunday 2.

Great nostalgic images. Oh and as I type, I see a sloppy joe...whoa. I'm in heaven.

LOVE that you checked off your favorite recipe! Isn't it cool finding old books buried among your stuff? So much changed but so much the same :-) Great find!

I second that on brownies btw...yum!

I absolutely love illustrations like those. I have an old Betty Crocker cookbook, from the 50's, and it's very pleasant to just sit down and leaf through it enjoying the drawings from another generation.

I love the old cookbooks. So nice that you still have yours! (I graduated from high school in 1968!) Happy SSS.
